In addition to my full-time work as a civil-rights attorney, I teach United States history at a local community college.

Broadly stated, my main research interest has been investigating the historical impacts of new technologies on practical aspects of the law.

My writing is a mix of professional (legal briefs and similar) and academic (mostly history).
